This workshop is designed for participants who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding of child protection in the dance community. This presentation will include:
  • Overview/Background on Youth Protection Advocates in Dance (YPAD)
  • General Overview of sexual abuse/exploitation of children
  • How to support child survivors as dance educators
  • Trauma Informed approaches to advocacy for children 
  • Open discussion
  • Question and answer session
